Trip Cost Estimator
For a round trip, the total cost is calculated as follows:
Base Rate: Base rate multiplied by 2.
Mileage Rate: Mileage rate multiplied by the round-trip mileage
Example Calculation:
Base Rate: $50 x 2 = $100
Total Mileage: 5 miles each way x 2 = 10 miles
Mileage Rate: 10 miles x $2.50 = $25
Total Cost of Trip: $100 (base) + $25 (mileage) = $125
This straightforward approach ensures you know exactly what to expect for your transportation needs!
